I would like to thank everyone who came down on a cold, Saturday night to catch the first Top City Poetry Reading. I read with Brian Daldorph, as Kevin Rabas caught the bug going around. However, the series will continue in the fall when we can have Kevin read at Lola's.
The baristas said it was a busy evening, the most crowded they had ever seen.
I had the fortune of meeting Matt Porubsky, an amazing poet and photographer (photos above). His reading will be March 13, 2008.
I hope everyone can come to the next reading with Anne Boyer and Hadara Bar-Nadav on March 1, 2008.
